In January 2002, my daughter had to face the fact that her marriage of 4 years was over, or very quickly coming to an end. It was not because she was not willing to commit herself fully to making the marriage work, or the fact that there was no love, on her part, in the marriage. We also believe that he was jealous of his baby daughter, who was 1 year old at the time and the attention she was getting from others, which he thought should have been directed at him. read more »

The team at Kennedy Spanner really took the time to listen to me and I felt comfortable knowing that they took a personal interest in my case. I was kept fully informed of the progress of their case preparation and their open communication with me as a client was excellent. This made me feel as though they valued me as a person and not simply a business transaction.

Thank you for all your help, patience, compassion and understanding during my claim. Without your help the outcome would have been different. A special thank you to Dean and Rod for all their tireless work and expertise. Thank you for generally caring and being very approachable.

My association with Kennedy Spanner Lawyers started when I was recommended to them by my company lawyers in the nineties. I met Malcolm Kennedy, when they were Kennedy Lawyers for a meeting to seek some independent advice on family matters. In 1998 when I needed legal help I automatically called their office. They dealt with police, family, company and property matters for me.
The years 1998 to 2001 were difficult and extremely stressful ones. the integrity, professionalism, respect and support that I received is just one part of what I was given. The number of times that I felt fear and despair of my situation and Dean would talk me through it all. I placed a huge emotional burden on him at times and over those years he has managed to carry me through. I am grateful that when I wasn't strong they were. I am grateful they got me through.
Recently I needed help again after the breakdown of a relationship and turned to the people I trusted. Previously they had printouts of positive affirmations that I would read as I waited in their waiting area, this time technology has moved in and I read the affirmation on a big screen with beautiful pictures, they worked then and will now.
My Mum asked what my feeling was after my first meeting again and I told her when I walked through the door I felt safe and a sense of relief. That feeling can only come with total trust and the knowledge that help is here.
It is hard to express in a few words how important and valuable they are to me. They are not just my legal representatives, I place my life in their hands and they protect it well.
